Kings Worship Academy (KWA)
At The King’s College, the focus of our teaching is to raise and equip a new generation of strong, dedicated creative artists: singers, songwriters, musicians and worship leaders who will devote their lives in a way that makes a positive impact on the world, for God.
The Kings Worship Academy (KWA) is a one-year program designed to provide passionate Christians across Perth with the skills to be effective in their creative ministry.
An initiative of The King’s College, KWA offers world-class ministry training and practical music industry tools for worship leaders, musicians, and production teams.
Our Year 11 and 12 students also have the opportunity to do the program as part of their CUA 40920 Certificate IV in Music qualification, through Unity College Australia (RTO 6330). To learn more about this initiative, you can visit the Kings Worship Academy website here.
KCFM Radio
KCFM is designed to create opportunities for students to discuss real-life topics, gain practical media experience and have their voice expressed front and centre.
Broadcasting from The King’s College Campus in Wellard, Western Australia – via the KCFM app – students learn production, copyrighting, interviewing, broadcasting, and media skills. Our radio station brings its listeners a great mix of student interviews, commentary on College life on campus, uplifting contemporary Christian and popular music, up-to-date news and information and entertainment to keep our school community informed and connected.
