Secondary Years

The King’s College provides a rewarding and challenging secondary education for students in Years 7 to 12. Within the safe and nurturing Christian environment of the College, your child is encouraged to become an independent and respectful learner with compassion and integrity.

Students benefit from a diverse curriculum and a rich selection of specialist programmes in which to take part.

Year 7-10 Curriculum

The curriculum is designed to assist and encourage your child to think critically and find their passion within a range of core subjects and electives.

Year 11-12 Curriculum

As a priority, every student is placed in courses that maximise their ability to graduate with the Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE).

There are two main pathways in Years 11 and 12:

There are many possible subject selections, including General courses, VET and Certificate courses, and ATAR courses.

Balance in all these areas will benefit your child and enhance their schooling experience. Some of the clubs are typically Breakfast, Chess, Creative, Environment, Japanese, Netball, Radio, Art, Athlete Development and Emergency Services Cadets.

We focus on developing all aspects of learning to enhance a student’s schooling experience.
