The King’s College, a ministry of The King’s Chapel, was established in 1986 by Dr Gerry and Ps Maureen McCoy.

Commencing with just 15 students and now blessed to serve over 1100 students.

It is a place where every student is known, respected and able to flourish.

Christ-Centred Learning Community

The foundations of any building are the most important part. That’s why the Bible and Jesus’ teachings are the truths and attitudes that pervade every part of College life. Students have many wonderful opportunities to discover their purpose and live with confidence and generosity, all stemming from Christian foundations. Our chapel services, devotions, prayer and discussion sessions allow students to explore God’s wonderful plans for themselves and humanity.

It is why we are here, to equip students to fulfill their God-given potential as they understand clearly, think deeply, judge wisely and live courageously.

Academic Excellence

At The King’s College, we are committed to academic excellence within a Christ-centred learning community. We aim to create a safe and calm environment that encourages a growth mindset, where students are encouraged to strive for their personal best.

Guided by the Western Australian Curriculum and shaped by Christian values, students receive the support and guidance needed to align their goals and aspirations with their subject choices. With access to diverse pathways, including ATAR, General and VET, each student is equipped to pursue future opportunities in university, trades or the workforce.

At The King’s College, academic success is supported by high-quality teaching and a focus on resilience, confidence and character to prepare students for life beyond school.

Pastoral Care and Student Wellbeing

Our culture of care is at the forefront of every aspect of the students’ experience at the College, with student safety a leading priority. Staff facilitate opportunities for student to develop their social and emotional skills, building capacity to flourish.

Individual needs are known, through professional relationships and lead to customised learning profiles and support. The King’s College uses the Keeping Safe program as a part of our dedication to child safety.

“A place where every single student is known, respected and able to flourish.”
