Learning Experience
There are unique elements to the educational approach applied at The King’s College, creating an inspired learning environment and facilitating exceptional moments for your child and all students.
Within the safe and nurturing Christian environment of the College, your child is encouraged to become an independent and respectful learner with compassion and integrity. Students benefit from a diverse curriculum and rich selection of specialist programmes.
Christian Service Learning
As part of our commitment to grow strong, healthy leaders, we have developed the Christian Service Learning program, which mobilises different year groups to demonstrate great acts of compassion to the school, local and world communities.
In conjunction with the Christian Education program, students:
Discover new strengths and build great friendships.
Learn to empathise with those less fortunate than themselves.
Enjoy the benefits of freely serving and giving without the expectation of rewards.
Display ambassadorship for the College as they champion the virtues and values of our school.
Honours Program
The Honours Program is designed to inspire students to strive for greater participation, engagement and achievement throughout their secondary school years.
This program celebrates individual efforts and accomplishments across academics, arts, sports and citizenship.
By offering a structured system of recognition; Bronze, Silver, Gold, and the prestigious King’s Honours Award, students are encouraged to set goals and celebrate their progress.
Achieving these Honours milestones instils a sense of pride and accomplishment, reinforcing the importance of well-rounded development both within and outside the school environment.
