Our Scholarship Programs recognise students who demonstrate talent, dedication and a commitment to contributing to our College community.
2027 McCoy Performing Arts Scholarship
The King's College Performing Arts Scholarships recognise students who demonstrate outstanding ability, passion and commitment in Drama, Dance or Music.
Established during the College’s 40th Anniversary year, the scholarships honour our Founders, Dr Gerry McCoy and Ps Maureen McCoy, and their commitment to creating opportunities for young people to discover, develop and share their God-given gifts and talents.
Two scholarships will be awarded each year:
One to a student entering or enrolled in Years 7 to 9
One to a student entering or enrolled in Years 10 to 12
Applications are welcomed from both current TKC students and prospective students who demonstrate talent, commitment and potential in the Performing Arts.

Important Dates:
Applications close: Friday 30 October 2026
Auditions: Friday 6 November 2026, from 1.00 pm
Location: The King’s College Auditorium
The selection process will include an application, audition and interview. All applicants will also need to provide the required supporting and enrolment documentation, if not already enrolled at The King’s College.
We warmly encourage talented and committed young performers to take this exciting next step, as this is a wonderful opportunity for students to further develop their abilities and contribute to the vibrant Performing Arts life of our College.
Catalyst Academic Extension Scholarship | Year 7
Our Catalyst Program offers enriched and challenging learning across Mathematics, English, Science and Humanities.
Students participate in rigorous inquiry, work collaboratively on authentic, project-based tasks and develop advanced critical and creative thinking.
The program is designed to extend highly motivated learners and support strong progression into senior secondary pathways.
Entry into the four Catalyst streams is determined through school reports, NAPLAN data, and the College’s Catalyst assessment.
Each year, the Scholarship Committee awards a number of Catalyst Scholarships to successful Catalyst Extension Program applicants based on merit.
SCHOLARSHIP ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Students must be enrolled or interested in enrolling in The King's College for Year 7.
Students must apply for and be accepted into the Year 7 Catalyst Academic Extension Program.
Students must have an eligible visa.
